Prenatal Yoga
The practice of prenatal yoga ensures that the body and breath connection is made long before labour begins. The birthing mother, having mentally integrated this as her life line, will have the capacity to use this connection to support herself. Her toned and stretched muscles will allow her to maintain positions to assist the baby’s movement through the body.
Prenatal yoga sessions provide preparation through regular, gentle exercise; fostering confidence, awareness and connection to the birth process through education, breath work, emotional guidance and support.
